  • How do I become an influencer / User?
    Download the app. Then, within the app you can purchase credits and start looking for photographers nearby. It’s that simple. Add the link here You can book a photographer instantly, or schedule for a later date and time.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • Do I need to be an actual influencer to use the APP
    No. This platform service is for creatives, travelers, and influencers alike. It’s a new way for anybody looking for high-quality, on-demand photos to connect with photographers nearby. It’s great for snapping that unforgettable picture in front of your favorite timeline, as much as it is for creators looking to stockpile content photos.
  • How do I edit my profile page?
    Head to ‘settings’ and select ‘edit profile.’ The more detailed you are, the better. It helps show prospective photographers that you’re a real person and provides details to what you’re looking for.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • When do I get the photos?
    Usually, our professional photographer uploads photos within a few hours after the photoshoot. But give them at least 24 hours. If you requested the photographer to edit the photos, expect it to take up to 72 hours. If you don’t receive photos on time, you can message your photographer directly. If they’re unresponsive, then contact our support team.
  • When is Candid Sync coming to my city?
    Candid Sync is growing rapidly and expanding nationwide. Right now, we have launched in New York…LA & Miami. If you would like to see Candid Sync in your area, let us know. Help share with friends and gain a referral on a free photoshoot.
  • Can I screenshot photos from a photographer without paying?
    Technically you can, and we’ll have no way of stopping you. But the photos will be overlayed with our Candid Sync Watermark. Trying to steal from photographers isn’t cool.
  • Can I get my money back if I don’t use credits?
    We do not have a return policy on credits. However, your credits never expire. You can also share credits with friends.
  • Can I book photographers multiple times?
    Yes. absolutely. You can book a photographer as often as you’d like, provided they’re available and agree to the booking request.
  • I booked a photographer, but I never got a response.
    If you booked a photographer, and they never showed up, then you can cancel it. When you cancel, a pop-up box asks “why did you cancel?” Select “no-show.” That way we know when photographers don’t show up to their bookings.
  • How long does it take to hear back from a photographer?
    Depending on their availability, it could take minutes or days. They are human beings, who check their phones to varying degrees. Usually, if photographers are nearby and have marked themselves available, they will reply within a few minutes.
  • Will I get credits back if I don’t like the photos taken by the photographer?
    You will get 100% of your credits back if you don’t like any of the photos, but you won’t be able to download any to keep.
  • How can I Sync (download) photos from the photographer?
    After the photoshoot, you can download photos after making a payment to the photographer. For the cost per photo, you can check out our tiered payment system.
  • When can I start messaging a photographer?
    After the photographer agrees on the location and time for the photo shoot you can start communicating through the ‘chat’ tab within the app.
  • What if I get a bad review from a photographer?
    Unfortunately you can’t change their review. Take their feedback and use it for your next photoshoot. One bad review will not prevent you from booking with photographers in the future.
  • What if I need to change my photoshoot location?
    You can request a location move within the app. This will get sent to the photographer, and they will have to agree to the location change.
  • Can I become a User & Photographer?
    Absolutely. We love creative people who join the platform. In the app, you can toggle between your view as a user and a photographer.
  • How long does it take for my application to get approved?
    Candid Sync usually registers and approvers photographer candidates within 24 hours. However, we manually approve all applications, so please be patient. If you haven’t heard from us in three business days, please email us at Info@CandidSync.com
  • Can I still use Candid Sync if I move?
    Candid Sync will be active nationwide, in dozens of cities, and soon to be worldwide. Your current location will change automatically within the app, but to look at bookings in other places, you can go to ‘settings’ and then ‘location’ to change.
  • How do I withdraw my credits for payment?
    Go to ‘settings’ and click ‘withdraw credits.’ From there, follow the instructions to verify your identity and select a payment method. Currently, we use PayPal or direct deposit to your bank account.
  • After I withdraw my credits how long does it take to get into my account?
    For direct deposit, it will take about 1-3 business days. For PayPal, you will see the funds in your account within minutes.
  • How do I register as a photographer?
    After downloading the app, select ‘photographer’ when the app opens. You’ll be directed to an application form where you fill out questions about our experience, equipment, and more. After that, our Candid Sync team will review your application form and contact you.
  • What is the difference between photographer, Pro photographer & Verified Photographer?
    ● A photographer has less than 2 years of experience. You can be just starting out, working towards a full-time career, or just looking for a side hustle. I feel like the only main difference here are the years of experience. Are you still building out these requirements a bit? ● A Pro photographer has 2-5 years, are building out their portfolio who has a website or studio and takes professional photos of influencers users for their full-time job. ● A verified photographer has 5+ years of experience, and has multiple publications, or other accolades of accomplishment in photography, an abundant portfolio, and work in the industry full-time.
  • Why do I have to give my bank information for direct deposit?
    If you want to get paid for direct deposit, then we need your bank information to send the money, and personal information to verify your identity.
  • How do I upgrade to become a pro photographer or upgrade account?
    You can email for an upgrade on the professional status. On the application form, you will see various questions about your resume, publications, website, and additional information. Our team will review your upgrade request within 3 business days.
  • Do I need to have my location on 24/7?
    No, your location is only available when you have the app open. When you close the app, it will no longer know your location. You can adjust your location preferences in ‘settings.’
  • How do I get booked more?
    You can expand your available times Head to your availability section and update your available times. Users will see your updated availability.
  • Do the users give me a review afterwards?
    Yes, after every photoshoot, the user will give you a review and a 1-5 star rating. Users will not see your rating score until after five sessions. That way, one bad review will not prevent you from booking sessions.
  • How do I upgrade to professional status?
    Our team does the verifications and determines that. Please keep up the good work and build your clients list.
  • Can videographers register as photographers on the app? What if I’m experienced in Videography and I want to be a photographer on the app?
    Eventually, we’re going to build out a separate section for videographers. For now, let’s see your talent as a photographer. If you’re interested in using Candid Sync for videography, email us at info@candidsync.com and let us know. We’d love to hear about your interest.
  • How do I deactivate my account?
    Go to ‘settings’ and click on ‘deactivate your account.’ If you deactivate your account, you will lose all current credits you currently hold. This FAQ section is a living, breathing document. If you have any additional questions please email us at info@CandidSync.com
